bobshaw235
by way of little meaningful football on T.V. (see James post)i have been watching the open golf and enjoying it.not being a player i have a question, yesterday it looked like both players had hit their balls into the same bunker (in the end one stayed on the grassy slope into the bunker)but what would happen if both balls ended up next to each other in the sand, its not as if you could mark your ball as the first player takes ball and the sand around the ball sometimes?. One player would mark, as happened on Thursday, I forget the players involved. If the balls were so close that even marking wouldn't help, then I assume that the second player to play would have to place as close as possible to the point where his ball lay, if his marker gets moved by the first player when he plays his shot.
