The report I saw said it would also affect UK citizens living in the UK.

 

The initial emphasis in reports on foreign spouses may have been a way to please certain "newspapers".

You really must stop diving in with both feet Kije: the new system will involve ALL spouses )at home or abroad), although with less marriages these days, I would imagine numbers are decreasing anyway.
