Jerry Posted May 30, 2007 Report Share Posted May 30, 2007 My daughter in law brought it home to put all the agony and what should have been unimaginable human degradation up on our big High Definition screen. Simple story about pre-Columbian indigenous people living in jungles, beautifully done if you thought his Passion was beautiful. Colorful to say the least. Mel was too modest to say it but I contend the reason he made this picture was religious. Columbus brought the natives a gentler religion.
