StagePro Academy Warrington will open its doors for the first time at noon on Saturday, September 4, with a very special appearance by Carley Stenson from Hollyoaks, who is very supportive of the academy.

After 20 years in the music business, touring her own theatre company all over the world from London?s West End to Dubai, Joanne Edwards is now opening her fantastic Warrington-based performing arts academy/theatre school.

The fantastic studio is very prestigious with a contemporary feel reception area and two separate studios for singing, recording and small group works. The main dance studio is very large area with a wood sprung floor. It has a great feel, with windows all round looking out over the square.

So come along to the open day to meet Carley in person, to have a look around the studios and to register for a free class session. Throughout the open day there will be performances of dance, drama and singing and the opportunity to chat to the tutors to find all about the academy and what it has to offer.

All the teachers at the academy are professional and highly qualified, and at the same time they are all very passionate about what they do.

StagePro Academy is located on the top floor at The Old Post Office in Springfield Street, Warrington, overlooking Palmyra Square and gardens.

The superb theatre school will be a fantastic place for children and adults to learn the skills of stage work, dance, singing and all aspects of performance, including opportunities to particparticipate in theatre shows and master classes.

The Classes:

StagePro Academy will offer classes in the week and also at the weekends ? covering all aspects of drama, singing, stage and musical theatre. The classes will be for three year olds to adults and for beginners to advanced, and they will include street (contemporary), ballet, modern, tap (including Australian) and hip-hop (break) dancing plus drama (improvisation and script work), singing lessons (one-to-one and group sessions) and Bollywood and Bhangra classes.

There will be masterclasses ? workshops in stage makeup and film to include short films and show reels. There will be an ?acting for camera? masterclass available, which will specifically be for actors looking to get their heads around the skills that are required for acting in front of camera. This class will lead to them creating a handful of scenes that they can use as the beginning of a show reel for themselves.

Annual theatre productions will be held and based around the most popular TV and theatre shows, such as Glee, Grease, High School Musical, Hairspray, Bugsy Malone, Little Shop of Horrors, Wicked etc, which all students will love learning and being a part of.
