Women at War -

Not a new concept btw: in 1747 the wife of a Marine who was serving in India and reported missing; decided, on the death of her son, to try and find her husband. In order to get to India, she enlisted in the Marines - AS A MAN - and went on to fight in battles and earn medals. Alas, she didn't locate her hubby. On returning to England she opened a pub, called the "Female Warrior" - so life is certainly stranger than fiction - but how/why she wasn't identified as a female takes some believing! :?
