Jerry Posted October 7, 2009 Report Share Posted October 7, 2009 Back in the 50s I missed catching Leslie Caron as Cinder Ella. Saw it last night on TCM cable. She looked terrific but the production was not my style. She had a terrible butch haircut so popular with the French in those days (I think in Italy too). And she must have been 18 or 19 in 1955, and her prince charming was at least 43 years old, looked older. And dancing a pas de deux !!!!
