observer
In the war for American Independence, the British won almost every stand up battle with the Yanks, but lost the war - a situation later repeated by the Yanks in Viet-Nam - ironic or what?! observer
Just been watching "The Patriot" (Mel Gibson); where slaves who fought for the Continental Army for 12 months were given their freedom. Noted also, that the US Constitution says that " it is self evident that ALL men are created equal"; so why didn't slavery end in the US at the end of their war of independence, and why didn't segregation end until the 1960s?
