theinsider
why do the reserves play at home when everyone at the club should be rallying to support the first team You don't get Man United reserves playing at the same time the first team are playing! Dave P
Insider, the reserves play 32 league matches and are entered into five cup competitions each season. Last season we reached, and won, the final of one of these and played a total of 45 matches. It would be impossible for fixtures to be arranged only when the first team are not playing. Whenever such an occasion occurs, eg tomorrow, many of the reserve players and management attend the games. This is often reciprocated when the reserves are playing and the first team have no game as witnessed two weeks ago with a large crowd for the game against moore utd
timpri
the proffectional sides are different, they can play all there reserve games mid week as they have nothing else to do are researves are not paid a penny anyway the reserves/yeouth team & womens are just as much a part of WARRINGTON tOWN football club as the first team! Wiretown.Editor
WT Res are at home on 10th Feb (7.45) v Denton Town when the first XI do not have a game. I am planning to produce a match programme for this game. Let's shout DP's side on. We owe Denton a 5-1 bashing at the very least after the last game was abandoned.
