karltt Posted November 7, 2008 Report Share Posted November 7, 2008 A statement published by Nantwich Town Football Club reads as follows :- "In response to the unconfirmed rumours that were broadcast by a local radio station on Tuesday evening, and again early Wednesday to the effect that our head coach Steve Davis had tendered his resignation, the club wish to confirm that the rumours ARE COMPLETELY UNTRUE." "Steve has been flattered with recent links to clubs at a higher level but is committed to achieving further success with Nantwich Town Football Club." "This statement is issued jointly by Chairman and Director of Football Clive Jackson and Nantwich Town Football Club Head Coach Steve Davis."
