dawson
Yesterday I watched this Film with my Husband and daughter. Its always refreshing to see a film that you know Hollywood would never have the courage or imagination to make. The Sea Inside is a deeply moving drama about the question of euthanasia. With such a topic its easy to slip into a cliche and overplay the emotions involved - which this film comes dangerously close to, but pleasantly avoids. This film was a total surprise, and I came away moved. Watch this film I dare you not to be moved Debs
Jerry
I sneer at Hollywood, but feel compelled to suggest to Debs that they made MILLION DOLLAR BABY last year and honored it with many awards. As for THE SEA INSIDE, I haven't seen it -- but understand that it's abouot a quadriplegic who loves life but thinks the laws for physician assisted suicide needs to be updated and examined. N'est pas? I don't know where the SEA film was made. I should know about it before I comment, eh?
