asperity
Never having performed heart surgery, or even been present in the operating theatre during an operation (except when I was on the table - but not taking any notice of my surroundings), I couldn't possibly say. observer
merely observant - they showed the set up on the news. Seems two nurses have to read through an inventory list to check they've got all the instruments; but a pre-marked tray would show any missing kit. While were on the subject; why don't they mark the required operation site on the patient, while the patient is awake, prior to the surgery ?
