..... and neither is it "routine" to "bend over" for medical screening either;

Well , where's the fun in that :twisted:

I never claimed it was "observed", just another person's innocent estimate, having no axe to grind either way - but it certainly seems to have found it's mark with you !

and not influenced by your galloping xenophobia - yeah right!! :rolleyes:

Dennis Skinner, as quoted in that leftie newspaper the Telegraph :|

   "people of ....different colours and different nationalities can change the bed sheets and they can operate but woe betide them wanting to put their head on a pillow when they are ill."

but how many people who build Bentleys and Rolls Royces travel to work in their Fiestas and Astras?

just cos you make 'em doesn't mean you can have one

I'm referring to foreign nationals who specifically visit this Country to use our NHS for free. There was a TV documentary about it, which tended to blame the incapacity or inefficiency of our Hospitals to bill these people and secure payment. As for foreign workers in the NHS, the question is, why are we importing this labour in the first place; presumably because we havn't got the political will or capacity in our education and training sector, to produce the skills required from indigenous sources? However, having allowed them in to WORK, it seems we're duty bound to provide them and their families with the services available to all NI and tax-payers.

if they are working and contributing - not just  economically but in other ways - e.g. keeping the NHS going for all of us, then it is only right that  they expect those services.

As I said (pls read what I actually say), IF they are working here we are duty bound imo to provide them with the same public services as the rest of us. However, that doesn't mean that they will be paying in (in tax) more than they are taking out in services. if for example they are low paid or have a family. Cameron and Co just don't get it; they gone off on an arms race as to which Party can be hardest on the immigrants who are here; when imo they should be addressing the system and rules, and our own education and training deficiences, that allowed them in in the first place.

Come on now lads, let's calm down and 'ave a sing song!.

The video clip - The Immigration Song has been;

REMOVED AT THE INSISTANCE OF FORUM MEMBER Lt Kije,

Who thought it was endorsing and promoting publicity for the BNP, whom I have neither any connection or any wish to be associated with!.

Well, assuming Kije can manage to watch the BBC news; he would discover that the UKBF, set up by a Labour Home Sec to sort out the immigration mess they (Labour) created, due to the HO "not being fit for purpose"; has now proved it'self "not fit for purpose".  With over 1.5million outstanding assylum claims (they are immigrants Kije, who languish over here clogging up courts time and legal aid funding - whilst pursuing appeals etc); that will take 24 years to clear. Officially, assylum applicants arn't allowed to work anyway, and are sustained by Gov food vouchers. Now assuming any of these "assylum seekers" are genuine, they would have complied with international (the Dublin) conventions, and fled to the next safe country to the one they were fleeing from. EG: In the case of the 120,000 Tamils in London, they would have moved from Sri Lanka to India; rather than travel half way round the world to good old Benefits Blighty. Some of course may not be "genuine", and are in fact illegal entrants using the assylum process to stay here (for the next 24 years it seems!) as their gambit of last resource. Now Kije, are you claiming that this is a sane and rational system?

Like what similarities algy?

Have a long hard think about the lyrics Lt and see if you can identify any similarities to life as it is at the moment in the UK,  then have a good nights sleep and see if the world has changed for the better when you wake up in in the morning!, Oh! and don't forget to put on those rose coloured spectacles. :wink:
