Criminal prosecutions carry the burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt. In the case of a defendant corpse, the trial would tend to be rather one sided ! Barbara Hewson told online magazine Spiked that the move was necessary in the wake of the Jimmy Savile scandal to end the "persecution of old men"..." Keith Harris is reported to have said " I never new Orville had it in him". Emu has been quoted as saying "Rod by name and Rod by nature", he may face countercharges of pushing Rod off the roof!.
