Marlow
I am not a prolific reader, but do tend to like British contemporary novels. Books I can relate to. 'You Are Here' by Steve Horsfall is quite literally the best book I have read for years. It is about 4 thirtysomething Brits going on holiday to Crete during a crossroads in all their lives. Great retro and music references and the characters are excellent, and in particular the supporting characters.A real feelgood novel which any Brit( male or female) in their 30's will love. Mary
Marlow that sounds like a very nice book - do you think an anglophile like me would enjoy it? Welcome to the forum as well - keep posting!
Marlow
Mary - That's a good question. It is a very British book and I would have thought not, but then it has attracted some really good reviews in the States on Amazon.com ( I checked it out off the back of your Question) PS I have always been a site viewer but I'm now happy to be a reviewer too
