observer
Seems the knives are out for poor Dave, with his own Ministers now allegedley briefing against him - perhaps it won't be the Ides of March, but it could be at the foot of Margret's statue ! Cleopatra
Poor Dave my arse...! As a PM he is hopeless and happless and leading the party to defeat at the next election so the rank and file are plotting his farewell before the next elections. Davy51
I believe Theresa May is waiting in the wings in case Dave slips in the pigeon s*** round the statue in Grantham. Unfortunately, none of the politicians these days have an x factor personality to make political parties appealing to the electorate. Do the Tories ,though ,have faith in Dave to get his party through this ever deepening economic & political crisis or is their a better leader waiting in the wings. Nick Tessla
Theresa May - a substitute for Maggie as a strict female authority figure - you can just imagine all those Tory ex-public school boys fantasising about being called to Matron's office for six of the best. Cleopatra
Mrs May could possibly be a good PM. She is a no nonsense, determined woman and the tories could do worse than put her in the place of Dreamy Dave. She would be the best person to lead the party into the next election if they wish to retain any credibility.
Lt Kije
Mrs May would be a good choice, As she would make them unelectable
Cleopatra
Not neccesarily. Many people admire Mrs May and her no nonsense approach. She would be the best bet and if I was in the uk I would have no qualms about betting 5 grand that she would be the next tory leader. Lt Kije
I hope you win your bet, because she would take the Tories into opposition quicker, as the Lib Dems would abandon the alliance.
wolfie
I think when Cameron was choosing his cabinet he just saw the words 'home' and 'secretary' and gave it to the nearest woman
Bazj
I'd rather have Roland Rat than Dave, Nick but especially Ed.... there really is no hope for us......
observer
Think Nick's hit on something with the ex-public schoolboy thing - think perhaps there's a latent fantasy in Tory MPs that some powerfull dominatrix will redden their bottys with a good caning, if they're naughty!
