Bazj
Stallard.... The phrases "Responsible gun owners" and "Law Abiding gun owners" are banded about quite a lot when the 2nd ammendment is being defended.... the trouble is, from where we see it, the "responsible & law-abiding gun owners" always seem to have a cache of weapons that would keep a small, third world country in hardware for a year and this is then usually found by the "law abiding and responsible gun owners" crazy 16 year old son who then takes said arsenal and goes and shoots up the local shopping centre or school.... The phrase guns don't kill people is right.... but not taking into account crazy family members when assessing gun ownership is as bad! Lt Kije
Instead of vilifying legitimate and responsible gun owners, why doesn't he he push for something effective, like having doctors and the clergy report confessed pyschopaths? Do you not know nothing of the oaths Docters and the Clergy have to take, That is not within his power to do, You would need to speak to the Pope for that. Abd as to your attack on Your Liberal President, Your last Republicican one carryed on a Family Feud from Iraq.. Your first post on this topic, blamed drugs and gangs, What right comes first in your book, The Right to Live, or the Right to bare Arms? Bazj
Kije.... you can't expect doctors to squeal on their patients; they will have an ammendment defending that too!!
Bazj
and anyway.... if the Constitution is so good, why are there over 20 ammendments and why not just add another ammendment repaeling the 2nd ammendment?
observer
Having just watched a daft US film (nowt else on); which basically constituted a series of gun fights pieced together - I'm not surprised with the obsession youngster's have with guns, and as we know - America today = UK tommorrow!
