michaelorg
St. Mary’s Warrington is delighted to host the first choral workshop by James Macmillan in the North West. This is a rare opportunity for singers of all ages - from beginners to professionals - to work with one of the UK’s foremost composers, and explore a selection of his sacred and secular works. James Macmillan is one of today’s most successful living composers and is also internationally active as a conductor. His musical language is flooded with influences from his Scottish heritage, Catholic faith, social conscience, and close connection with Celtic folk music, blended with influences from Far Eastern, Scandinavian, and Eastern European music.See www.stmaryswarrington.org.uk/workshop for more information
