Geoffrey Settle
Hi Mary I bet that you could do a very good impression of her - both firey red heads - please try it out in Florida and let us know what happens
Mary
I am not a redhead - the picture does not show my blonde correctly- but yes I have done a few of her things with my friends, they were roaring!!
algy
Mary, we see media examples of the American sense of humour on TV and movies, but how does the ordinary person on the street's sense of humour compare with ours, incidentally "Cheers" is still my favourite all time comedy show, I never tire of watching it whereas Mrs Algy can't stand it. Cleopatra
Then Mrs Algy has a good taste in tv programmes.

Mary
British sense of humour, for me is the best. Having said that American is ok, but give me a Britcom anyday. I thought Cheers was ok years ago - but actually Frasier was much better. Right now Big Bang Theory is the only American comedy I like. Give me Monty Python any day. But then some people think I am weird! On a a completely different note - why don't my smiley's work??
Geoffrey Settle
My daughter likes the BBT as well - it goes straight on via playback when she comes around. Don't know about smileys though, however one of mine did mal function because i placed a letter right next to it. I deleted and re-inpu the smiley and it was then ok. May be you should start a smiley thread
algy
Then Mrs Algy has a good taste in tv programmes. Say's you Florence, although on reflection I suppose she must have had a good sense of humour to have married me. :D
Cleopatra
Don't be so hard on yourself Algy. She's a woman of good taste who recognised a diamond when she saw one.
wolfie
but actually Frasier was much better. Excellent choice Mary.
algy
Frasier, i have always enjoyed the series, although to me Niles has always been the star of the series, and Lileth is brilliant when she makes the occasional appearance.
