samjenn
I have very much enjoyed the novel Nobble Hospital of the Aegean by Paul Judges. It's a simple tale that takes place on a small Greek island, yet the language and humour is clear and lovely. There are many ingredients to the story - nature, pain, joy, sex, love, and an overriding sentiment of compassion. The book suggests we can all find a place in this imperfect world - not in a sentimental fashion, but a thoroughly entertaining and moving way. An original novel that's well worth a try. Mary
Welcome Samjen and I think this novel sounds very good - I tend to stick to Mysteries as a rule but a good book doesn't have to be of one genre or another - I might just have to check this book out - thank you and welcome to the forum again
