wolfie
Alan Pardew has told his Newcastle United players to forget all about the club's new sponsorship deal with Wonga.com. He's told them to just get on the pitch and give it 4107%

Cleopatra
Very good Wolfie  Cleo, Wonga are moneylenders I always thought wonga meant money so I googled it and it still means money. Perhaps you were thinking of a wonga monger?
Evil Sid
WONGA is one of those short term money lending services that will loan you money until "payday" usually a month. They charge an exorbitant APR of 4214% if you do not pay back on time. So to be daft if you borrowed £1.00 and did not pay it back for twelve months you could end up owing £4215 or there abouts if my maths is right. fugtifino
Wonga are legit loan sharks who charge outrageous interest rates. Nice one Wolfie. Edit, or what Sid sed.
wolfie
They charge an exorbitant APR of 4214% I got the percentage wrong. No wonder they lost the last match.
Dizzy
I wasn't going to mention your little error with the APR % though
wolfie
I wasn't going to mention your little error with the APR % though I'm so pleased you didn't, but I'm glad I did because they played Man United
