While on the subject of old buildings (just posted about Leigh Street Baths) what are the plans for the old council offices on Palmyra Square, is the idea to leave them long enough for them to fall into total dereliction then say ah well uneconomical to repair, demolish.

Were they an old school before anyone know the history?

No idea what is to become of the old council offices, probably turn them into 'posh' high priced apartments?.

Warrington public baths were designed and built as such, and opened in 1866 costing £2000 and closing 1st August 2003.

THE END

Which building(s) is/are the old council offices on Palymara

Strictly speaking Dizz they are not Council offices, I think 'Skittles' probably means the old Technical school (High school), next door (west) the old gymnasium and reading rooms and finally the end building cornering with Winmarleigh street the old county court building.
