Lt Kije
Is the title race on again after United slipped up yesterday, they still have the easier run in.?
Eagle
The title race has been on all season. When do you think it was off?

wolfie
The only surprise to me is that United are still in it. IMO this is the worst United side I have seen in over 20 years. As for an easier run in I'm not so sure. Newcastle away is a tough match but so is Sunderland away. Swansea at home is tougher than QPR at home. Â Having said that, I would never write United off. Lt Kije
I have a distant memory of a football team by that name eagle  I think your right Wolfie, they do have a habit of grinding out results even when they are playing badly, and I agree they are no longer the force they once were, it's bait to early to write them off yet though like that team from merseyside who's name I have forgotten again  As an outsider it will make for a must watch match next Monday, which cannot be a bad thing for football. Evil Sid
As an outsider it will make for a must watch match next Monday  Which is why they played such a dire game. Bums on seats. Would they have got a sell out crowd if they had won the previous match and the chase was over?
wolfie
Would they have got a sell out crowd if they had won the previous match and the chase was over? Â Most probably. Â They once got 74,000+, for a pre-season testimonial between Manchester United and New York Cosmos.
asperity
Wow!! I didn't realise the Cosmos had such a big fan base over here
Peter T
It has been United's to lose ever since they went top. I wouldn't like to forecast which way it will go. I doubt the forwards at Man. U are too happy with the last result after they scored the goals and then the defence gave them away. Â Evra doesn't seem up to his normal standard this season imo. Any thoughts on that? wolfie
Evra doesn't seem up to his normal standard this season imo. Any thoughts on that? Â He's always been more of an attacking rather than defending back, but he has always been able to rely on others. Unfortunately Ferdinand, Evans and Rafael in my opinion are not up to it. Would expect Smalling and Jones to be back for the City match.
Eagle
Rafael was the worst player on the pitch by a long way, I think Smalling will replace him but not sure about Jones. I think Fellaini is the sort of player that Fergie might want and he was certainly MOM.

WireWarrior97
They once got 74,000+, for a pre-season testimonial between Manchester United and New York Cosmos. Â Why shouldn't there be a good attendance for Paul Scholes' testimonial? He's been a great player at the club for the last 20 years. It was more than just a pre-season match between us and New York, to be honest.
Eagle
All i can say is COME ON CITY Â I suppose you need something to brighten your season, looking forward to the possibility of finishing in the bottom half largely due to a set of strikers that cost a fortune that helped the Poo to score seven goals less than relegation threatened Blackburn. Â The fortress Anfield is now a sandcastle.

algy
Wonderful result for City this evening and thoroughly deserved in my opinion, pity to see both managers setting a poor example to their players.
