Cleopatra
Can you believe we give aid money to Argentina??? Yes.
harry hayes
Madness indeed, but to stop it now would be bad timing and seem provocative.(a la the destroyer we have just sent down there). Happy days
inky pete
Use the aid money to buy an extra nuke or two and get the Dauntless to deliver them!
observer
Interesting - one of the vets who had to remove an unexploded bomb from one of our ships, said it was made in Derby.

Evil Sid
on the plus side it means that defusing it would be easier. on the minus side the fact it didn't go off does not bode well for the ones we fired back.

inky pete
Of course our "allies" across the English Channel nearly fell over themselves in their eagerness to supply Argentina with more Exocets and spare parts for their Mirage and Super Etendard jets via deniable third parties! Lt Kije
Didn't think you could hide the fact tat a mirage jet was made in France inky.
inky pete
No, but the French went right ahead and shipped Argentina spare parts and consumables for the Mirages, as well as additional Exocet missiles via third parties, while our task force was on its way down there. Exocet missiles sank the Atlantic Conveyor (they mistook a container ship for an aircraft carrier), HMS Sheffield, and damaged HMS Glamorgan. So much for gratitude for rescuing them from German domination twice in the past century! And now they've invited the Germans in themselves, they just don't learn so we'd best just make sure we can blow up the Channel Tunnel at short notice and let them go to hell their own way.
