....actually on second thoughs forget that as I don't think it's old enough and always looked very bland inside. Gosh what was I thinking when I said that :oops:

 

So how about Grappenhall Hall 'Special' School near St Wilfred's on the cobbled lane in Grappenhall. That's a pretty old building with an interesting past and might still have some of it's nice remaining original features intact.

It is the main entrance and staircase of the Grappenhall Hall!!

 

Blimey, what a guess :D I wouldn't have got it if you hadn't said south warrington though :wink:

 

I've never been in there (obviously) but it it looks rather grand from your pics, have you got any more ?

 

Shame we can't go in and have a look around.

Shame as I bet it was lovely in it's time.

 

I've heard that the lads there are a bit narky as my lads college mate did his work experience with a company who had to go there and his mentor said the first time he went there he had a brick thrown at him amongst other things :unsure:

 

Maybe he just said it to scare the work experience lad though :lol:
