Bazj
I am trying to trace some WW1 medals and a death plaque which was awarded to my great uncle; George Henry Woodey and regularly check EBay and other places in case it ever turns up.... While browsing tonight I came across this listing which really brings home the horrors of what was World War 1.... (Read the description as well as the title and you will see what I mean) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WW1-Death-plaques-brothers-/180830274292?pt=UK_Collectables_Militaria_LE&hash=item2a1a5302f4

RingoDave
That really does bring it all home. I also wonder just how many families had to suffer this as the sheer numbers of casualties are impossible for us to imagine.
