observer
RBS post a loss of £2billion, which apparently still qualifies their Execs for £millions in bonus payments - meanwhile, those public service workers that havn't been sacked have suffered a 10% drop in pay over the last 3 years. All "in it" together, but the lower down the food chain, it seems the deeper you're "in it".

inky pete
It ain't just public sector workers who haven't had a payrise in years - and most of the rest of us haven't been avoiding the pay freeze by "re-grading" roles and receiving "loyalty bonuses" (or, a couple of grand just for promising not to go on strike during the Olympics!)
