wolfie
Don't have a great deal of interest in Super League these days, so can someone explain what the benefits of expanding the World Club Challenge are?
algy
Don't have a great deal of interest in Super League these days, so can someone explain what the benefits of expanding the World Club Challenge are? I'm getting very worried about you Wolfman, lately you seem to want every post explained in detail. wolfie
I'm not interested enough to want it explaining in detail, just a brief outline would do.
Eagle
It is a waste of time, is that concise enough?
wolfie
A straight answer as usual Eagle. Just as I thought, another useless idea from the RFL
Wireboy
I think the idea comes from Football from there Champions league. Our top four plays there top Four. Obviously there will be huge logistical difficulties and I'm not sure how it would work. I also think the Super League clubs will get a good beating from Australia. I don't think you can take Leeds victory last Friday as an example of how it would be. The Super league teams may lift for a "one off" but in a league they would have no chance at present. safeway60
Crazy idea. Euro football is viable because they are our near neighbours...RL is different because the venues are twelve and a half thousand miles apart...Only the daftest of expansionists would consider such a competition. A one-off match with holidaymaking Aussies is about as practical as it gets.
wolfie
Seems that thr RFL are looking at extra profit from the proposed games, and the fact that the Aussies are not interested in International matches.
