This scene resembles something more akin to World War I rather than civil engineering work!. Making a damn near the River Weaver near Frodsham, the driver of the locomotive must have had nerves of steel!. A Diving Gang standing by the air pump. A Diver carrying out either inspection or remedial work at Pomona Dock at Salford. Diver Bill Brown emerging from the murky water of Irlam Locks. Diver Group Eastham Locks, I would not wish to argue with these chaps. Diver in the Boat at Thelwall. Divers Gang, I hope there's no one in the suit!. Divers Underwater Lighting, someone had a sense of humour!. Dredger Barry at Ellesmere Port Dam, more watching than working on this one, looks as if the Gaffa's not around.
