Rex Mac
The first house I bought was in Cinnamon Brow. As you are all aware whenever you move to a new home you have to inform all manner of people of your new address. Sometimes you might just make a 'phone call and trust the person on the other end of the line to take your details down correctly. I lived in Cinnamon Brow for just over 5 years and one company regularly used to correspond to with me at: - 16 ?????? Close Sinner Man Brown Warrington Amazingly the mail always reached me and never failed to bring a smile to my face. So, what examples misheard statements have you come across? Feel free to add anything, song lyrics, statements anything you like. For example does anyone remember the Desmond Dekker song that went: - "Get up in the morning slaving for bread Sir, So that every mouth can be fed, Whooooa oooa me ears are alight"

Evil Sid
not so much a misheard lyric as a bit of a mickey take of one of my ex colleagues. as part of our job we had to rig small chain operated pulley blocks. this particular day he missed the hook whilst trying to clip the chain block in place and as a result it swang round and hit him in the face. fortunately the only damage was to his pride and his glasses. for weeks later you could here the strains of "chain blocks keep falling on my head" whenever he walked into a room.
