algy
Map of Warrington in 1465 copied from the Legh Manuscripts. Warrington is little more than a village with single rows of cottages.

Any chance you can enlarge it so I can read what the text says as if I zoom in it goes blurry. It could be my eyes though

Any chance you can enlarge it so I can read what the text says as if I zoom in it goes blurry. It could be my eyes though I can do better than that, here is the link to the original book by William Beamont: http://www.archive.org/stream/warringtoninmccc00beamrich#page/n0/mode/2up WARRINGTON IN M.CCCC.LXV.(1465) AS DESCRIBED IN A CONTEMPORARY RENT ROLL OP THE LEGH FAMILY, IN THE POSSESSION OF THOMAS LEGH, ESQUIRE, OF LYME PARK. (Also known as the Legh MS). EDITED BY WILLIAM BEAMONT, ESQ. The link takes you to the book on the Internet archive and you may either read it on line or download it as a PDF file I would recommend the latter as the amount of information is interesting and large in content. When you have internet page with the blue cover of the closed book, at the top of the blue cover there is a light coloured tool bar displaying four black icons on the right, clk in the i icon, this opens up a page with options on it clk the PDF option which opens yet another page with the book on it at the top left clk the download icon and download the book. Good Luck. algy.
