Learn about the influence of the Upper Mersey Estuary on the last 60 years of life; from the birthplace of the Chemical Industry to the improving waters and opportunities of today. An interactive day of memories and experiences. There will be characters dressed in period costume, interacting with visitors. There will also be craft making opportunities during the day. Pre-booking essential. Age 8+ preferred but any age welcome if accompanied by an adult. Minibus from Wigg Island, Runcorn and back at 11AM.
