Seems the Yanks are dealing with their bankers as criminals (which imo is how it should be); not so our political/banking establishment - after all, I guess most of them went to the same schools! Whatever changes are made to the banking system/regulation/whatever, the only people who will end up worse off are us, the general public. Forget free banking, the bankers will ensure that by hook or by crook they won't suffer.
