Wingnut
Managed to get this one today. Room for improvement with camera and photoshop, but I had to be quick in taking the shot, as it didn't stay in one place for too long. There was also a small brown type fluttering about, but that was ultra fast, so I had no chance. The next two months are supposed to be the most prolific months for spotting butterflies. There are also some very pretty moths about. The butterfly in the photograph, I think we used to call them Frenchies. Also spotted two coots chaseing/mobbing a grass snake, but I couldn't get anywhere near them as they were out in the water, about 50 yds. One over enthusiastic angler ran down to the waters edge and frightened them off in another direction. Pity really as they were coming straight towards me. That would have made a rare shot.
