Bier Huis Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 Why not head into Ossett town centre a little earlier and check out the Local Product Market. Our wonderful Beer stall we be there showcasing a wide range of wonderful beers along with Mustards, Yorkshire Crisps and chorizo’s And if your not into that then there is a bakery stall, crepe stall, Lucy’s wonderful pie stall and not forgetting the Sausage stall. Plus much more. Full details at www.ossett.tv And when our shop opens in Ossett there will be discount for all Evo stick league season ticket and social club members. <shop web link removed> The main town square is located behind the town hall. When looking from Stade France. Plenty of car parking is available around the town as well as bus links from Dewsbury (handy for the train from Warrington Central) or Wakefield. The bus station is across the road from the ground. Quote
Dizzy Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 Hi and welcome to the forum. Sorry but I have just removed the link to your own website as it is sort of against forum advertising rules (ie yours being an online shop an all that). Sounds like you have a great market over your way though and if any footy bods are going can they get me a home made pie and some mustard from the market Quote

Congratulations on your marketing initiative - but no free links allowed - as well as running this website I am also Chairman at the football club and I am sure those fans who travel will be on the look out for some good local produce. Bier Huis Posted August 24, 2011 Author Report Posted August 24, 2011 Ah no worries thought I would spread the word to all Evo stick fans out there being a wire fan myself. Sadly will not be at the game. But hopefully some of you will pop along to the market. Quote
burgerman Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 i went to Ossett Albion last year and all i can remember of the trip is that it was very nippy and windy. Quote
P.I.E.M.A.N. Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Bier Huis, nice to meet a Wire fan living in Yorkshire. We have started a Yorkshire Branch of our supporters Club, why not join, double the number of members, us Wire footie fans are a friendly bunch, and often have a great time when we go over to Yorkshire, indeed, we have a number of Yorkshiremen within our regular supporter base, but these now live in Warrington. Gary Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 And how much is it? £10 or £5? (If I can drag someone else along, I'll see if I can go...) £10 for adults and £5 for Under 16s Quote
WireWarrior97 Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 Do we need to book a seat on the coach in advance? (Found someone to drag to wherever Ossett is with me ) --- Actually, we just decided that we should just leave it and go to the game on Monday instead. Quote

Aye count me in. Don't get to see as much footie or Rugby as I would like to! Although I'm at wembley this weekend and Mrs Bier Huis is running the stall. Quote
Woody Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 We come back to Ossett in October, when we play Wakefield, its a midweek game, hope to see you there and introduce myself and Steve, who is our other Yorkshire Wire Quote
knock off nigel from moore Posted August 27, 2011 Report Posted August 27, 2011 well i went to ossett the place is dead no shops open and as for the markeit just two stalls thats all 1 Quote
WireWarrior97 Posted August 27, 2011 Report Posted August 27, 2011 Nice to see I didn't waste £7 to watch us lose again. Any signs of improvement anywhere? Did David Stephenson play? Is he taller than Pritchard? And is it alright if we pronounce the David like "David Villa" or "David de Gea" so he sounds Spanish and scares people? Quote
