"Hull FC granted Martin leave because of a stress related illness." Thank goodness we got shut, has far too many issues off the field to be able to be the good player we know he could be. Great player but it appears he has demons. I was sorry to see him go but history has proven that this was unfortunately a good thing. Stress is very debilitating and only in recent years has been accepted as being a real condition . He never struck me as being very bright which he'd have to be to fake this condition. CP Posted June 24, 2011 Report Share Posted June 24, 2011 I dont believe anyone thinks Gleeson is faking illness, its more a case of does he actually have an illness or is it just a smokescreen for something else. Whatever Martins issues are, the best thing he can do is get them sorted and get back playing RL or retire and write his autiobiography.
