And this time, it is being hosted by Warrington Wolves, so you will be starting the walk from The Halliwell Jones Stadium! For those who don't know, Starlight is a sponsored half Marathon Walk around Warrington which starts at midnight on the 17th June. We're expecting 2,000 ladies to take part this year, and help to raise much needed funds for the hospice. It costs ?2.6m a year to run St. Rocco's, that's ?5 a minute! The route heads past the town centre, into Latchford, Padgate and Orford before turning back down Winwick Road to head to the stadium. Entry is just ?12, and everyone who enters gets a limited edition Starlight T-shirt, a medal and breakfast! We're also on the look out for event marshals, to help keep the ladies safe all around the route. Around 220 marshals line the route keeping everyone's spirits up and keeping everyone safe, as well as another 30 fantastic volunteers who help to set up and break down the event.
