Geoff Settle
Pete where how is a promotional exercise taking money away from the public, get real. Surely giving a half priced ticket generate another half sale that may not have taken place. The customer may not have known about the whell and through the purchase has now the opportunity to take a ride. A case of half full and a good move. Paul Kennedy
When it is said WBT sponsors the wheel, I'm not sure that means that they are paying for it in total, it might mean that they will help advertise it etc. I had assumed that the wheel was private enterprise. Trying to get back onto the subject, will you be able to see M&S Gemini from the top of the wheel.
Geoff Settle
Maybe, maybe not but their planning application is being revised so who knows? Are you going to have a spin Paul?
Paul Kennedy
Not sure Geoff, depends if my youngest wants to go on it. Worth reading front page news for an update of the situation.
wahl
Why all the fuss about expansion affecting the town centre when the labour council previously has allowed and encouraged the out of town development at junction 8 that will surely kill off town centre shopping
observer
Twue; the damage has been arguably done; BUT when in a hole, it's best to stop digging!
