DS
Anyone got any experience of dealing with snow mould on the lawn. My front and back lawns are suffering badly from this condition, for the second year in succession. It has resisted my efforts to get rid of it. Anyone got any ideas? Geoffrey Settle
Hi Dave, Gardening Geoff here - I've found this video http://www.5min.com/Video/How-to-Identify-and-Treat-Snow-Mold-266531415 Looks like if this doesn't work then you've got problems as it doesn't go away easily. Anway get out your rake if nothing else you'll get loads of exercise. By the way don't let her indoors know that I've been giving out gardening tips as she'll want me to do some gardening. wolfie
Anyone got any experience of dealing with snow mould on the lawn. Can't you be more specific. Is it Grey snow mould or Pink snow mould?
DS
Thanks all for your suggestions - although I think re-turfing is a bit drastic. I've looked at the video, Geoff, and it confirms what I have learned from other sources. I don't think I've got "pink" snow mould, but it seems the treatment is pretty much the same whatever. Looks like I've got quite a bit of work ahead of me.
Evil Sid
If you get it organised correctly you could get the family in to help and make a day of it. Snow mould barby
