observer Posted March 4, 2011 Report Share Posted March 4, 2011 Listening to the current threats of legal retribution against Gadafi & Co, it would seem that the trial and death sentence on Charles I were perfectly legal by today's standards. He declared war on (parliament) his people after all. But Charles II had old Olly dug up and butchered, and his head stuck on a spike - so perhaps an apology from the present Queen?!
