bobshaw235
What a potty idea by the Government,if you are unemployed and live in a council house you face eviction under a new initiative, why not drag them through the streets and Tar & Feather them or better still make domestic fuel bills so high they will freeze to death in winter,im sure there are many other indignatives we can bestow on our unemployed.(indignatives is that a word?) observer
It's called "political kite flying" Bob; some idiot floats a half baked idea, and if the punters don't get too upset or even like it; it may get included in policy somewhere down the line. It's yet another example of New Lab, indeed politicians generally, being bankrupt of any constructive vision or ideas for putting the "Great" back into Britain and improving the well being of it's citizens. Bazj
so in short it is a "kick out the doleys and stick the Poles in their place" kind of scheme!!
observer
Hot air from a woman with no experience of life outside politics, and totally unworkable and indeed currently illegal.
Bazj
Since when has "illegal" worried anyone in NULab?
Paul Kennedy
It doesn't because they have redefined the word "legal". Having seen what the Blair/Brown axis have got away with, Mrs Thatcher must sit at home thinking...if only I had been bolder...
