Dizzy
We've had 4 leaks on our property from the main common supply pipe that serves 11 houses Bill but we have never suffered from a loss of water pressure. Most other houses have had leaks on their land too and again no-one has ever suffered from any loss of pressure. Old lead pipes and a pin prick hole but... water feature only
observer
We've been getting cloudy water out of the tap, but it quickly clears - is it safe to drink?

Evil Sid
if it is a milky sort of colour it is probably air in the system forming smallish bubbles that appear to make the water a milky colour. if it is a brownish sort of cloudy then it could be disturbed sediment.fill a clear glass and wait if it is disturb sediment it will settle on the bottom. sounds like the sort of answer that UU will give you over the phone
Sue Durnim
What scum can things like this in peoples hour of need! Vandals dump 22,000 litres of water as families struggle Vandals have opened valves on bowsers in County Tyrone and emptied out nearly 5,000 gallons (22,730 litres) of water. About 2,000 homes in the area are still without a running water supply. NI Water filled the bowsers at Gortgonis Park, Coalisland on Friday for the weekend. But during the night, vandals opened the valves and let the water run out. It happened as NI Water revealed that 4,000 homes in Northern Ireland were still without supplies. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-12102570
