Camera info Please.

I have an Olympus OM10. Old but in good condition. Can anybody tell me how good they are/were? Were they bog standard, or were they top of the range in their time? Also what were their good and bad points? If any.

Thanks Algy, that's the one. The 15 sec timer delay will be very usefull to me for self takes. My last SLR was only 7 seconds.

Unbelievably Wingnut I have exactly the same camera. Complete with 3 lenses,flash,cable release and a bag. I still take the odd roll with it but the results are never that good tbh. That could be me rather than the camera,

Before the Olympus I was useing a Zenith EM. It was built like a tank, and could take the knocks, which was usefull to me, as I was into a spot of climbing and scrambling about at the time. I also had filters, macro's, and telephoto lenses for it.

 

One went for sale for ?10 - ?15 on one of the car booty shows last week.

 

The Olympus Om10 is a better model, I might start to try useing it and see what happens.

Using a film camera these days is about as much use as me driving round in my old Corsair..... not much point but a bit of nostalgia doesn't hurt now and then!
