Great idea, lets do some kind of competition, to meet one of the players/ the team, win some training for the school football team etc, that may get some interest. JUST NEEDED TO SAY ALL THIS BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DID The aim of the video is to make the club look an exciting place to come to for young fans of the future and there is no better way of doing that than highlighitng a game with a good atmosphere and sell out crowd- it also aims to show that the Wolves are fully supportive of us to hopefully encourage more of their fans to follow both sports. I didn't drag their Chairman down - he has actually been to quite a few games home and away over the years and is actually a big football fan. The five a side pitches will sell themselves once they are up and running and will be fully booked pretty quickly as people are already clamouring to book them. Thanks for your feedback but I am more than happy with what has been produced at this stage in proceedings. It looks a bit ameturish (OMG did I just say that ) and it didn't promote the club in a particularly inspiring way to me at all...it was just clips of a game, a bit of chit chat and some rowdy supporters I know you have been in advertising for 30 years Gary but maybe you are biased towards this film due to your love of the club. I dread to think of some of the comments that an interview would bring. Surely promoting something is about a little and often, NOT an "In your face" full on, this is what we are going to do. Furious Town Boys Posted December 1, 2010 Report Share Posted December 1, 2010 Lets put it this way if everything in life was perfect first time round the world would be a perfect place, which it quite clearly isnt! Yes the video is good and captures one of the best moments in the clubs history (a sell out crowd) and shows very good connections between the wolves, football and our supporters. What would be a good idea would be to produce a video from a number of games but we dont have anyone who can gather videos from a variety of matches as yet. But if you add or make the video any longer it will lose peoples attention when shown to potential sponsorship companies or other people. Only criticism would be to add to the video and show the new Vice presidents lounge and plans for future Stadium developments! that is all that is lacking at the minute. I am sure Gary can organise a few small edits Also what other club in our division has something like this? we have no benchmark to work on so lets set the standard with promotional material within our league Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Do you know who filmed it I suspect some folk don't realise the web version is low quality which doesn't help with the appearance. The DVD quality looks a lot better which is what we will be showing in the schools. It will be accompanied bvy someone from the club interacting with the audience, which will include all the missing elements. The DVD is purely tos dhow what can be achieved with a big crowd. It's tos is it ... dhow... move over Homer Simpson Ok so knowing what I know now ie about how you are going to use it and having watched it a few more times it is growing on me a bit... Unfortunatly I only usually watch or read something once and if it doesn't catch my attention, inspire me or keep me interested I get bored and switch off. If you are gearing it towards school kids are you going to show the facilities you have there and the training sessions that take place etc.... you have kids teams too don't you and didn't you recently take over Beechfields FC .. you should include a bit about some of the teens sessions and matches etc. Kids will be more interested in the actual footy, the players, the training, what other kids are doing there and what really goes on rather than being interested in what Mr B has to say Anyway I'm just a girlie so what do I know ...
