Did anyone know about this ?? I't doesn't appear to be on the councils website and I've not seen it advertised anywhere so how on earth are people supposed to know about it FGS !!

Deadline for the completion of the 'Have Your Say' consultation by the Advisory Group which was set up to look into possible options, public opinion and ideas on the future of Walton Halll & Gardens Estate is running until Dec 9th

The collated information and suggested proposals will be put in the report to be presented to the Exec Board next March.

Forms are apparently located in Warrington/Stockton Heath Libraries or the Contact Centre on Horsemarket Street. :?

An online version is available at

www.visitchesterandcheshire.co.uk/waltonhall

...although there doesn't appear to be any info with it and unless you specifically know about it and go searching you can't find it find it.... they don't make it easy do they :?:roll:

*** Post edited 18 Nov and date corrected as per info from 'Waltonion' (a member of the new Advisory Group and Save Walton Gardens Campaigh Group)... please see other thread where additional info is now available and

request for suggestions via this forum, facebook and email is also asked for ***

It's not a laughing matter Evils... :P it's WRONG.

So where we first had the Council secretly having talks and making deals with people to get rid of Walton Hall.... which then caused public uproar... which resulted in Contessa pulling out of the deal at the last minute.... HURRAH

.... we then go onto having this wonderful Advisory Group set up by the Council to look for a new way forward (to appease the public?) and this group holds a consultation but they don't blummin tell anyone about it.

For goodnessake it's not rocket science :lol:

:D:D Now there seems to be some info when you click the link rather than it just going stright into the survey page

All they need now is find a way of letting everyone know about it PDQ so that those who want to can fill it in by Friday.

It's quite good survey actually :D

Every one at the public meeting in Walton Parish Room on 4th November was asked to complete the survey but turnout was pathetic - 14 members of public, 5 of the 11 Walton Parish Councillors and Ward Councillor Paul Kennedy. The meeting was not very well publicised but every home in Walton Parish would have received the October Parish Council news letter containing notice of the Public meeting - maybe a 6.30 p.m start was too early for some :o
