algy Posted November 15, 2010 Report Share Posted November 15, 2010 Good news does not sell newspapers, I think most national newspaper editors go to bed at night praying for a disaster with a provisor that they obtain that scoop first, must emphasise I do not advocate the spillage of oil or any chemicals into the oceans of our planet but when you think of the amount of shipping sunk in the second world war with the resulting tonnage of crude and fuel oil that must have contaminated the sea's with little or no LONG term effect, nature is very efficient at correcting the balance that we humans have disturbed, we have done more damage by hunting and fishing species out of existance.
