Robbo
Or should that be the 2 and two halves? England fail again and Australia and New Zealand are now threatening to go their own way and opt for a three-match Test series in the Southern Hemisphere every year without England. Too many overseas players fill ?vital positions in Super League ? and the quality of a lot of those ?players has to be questioned. Super League lacks the quality and intensity of the NRL and that shows when England teams can?t handle the pressure of 80 ?minutes of Test football. Do Super League chairmen and chief executives care about international rugby league or are they entirely ?focused on their own clubs? And let?s forget this notion that ?Super League is closing the gap on the NRL ? ex-Great Britain coach Brian Noble said this week that ?Super League may not be as good as it was five or six years ago. wolfie
I have said it many times, Super League was introduced to enable us to compete with the Aussies and it has failed miserably.
Primedius
And all these tough super fit Super League players got a right mauling at the hands of Papua New Guinea. Broken wrists, dislocated shoulders, and half the team injured.
