indy
August 2010 and as the crops are removed once again from the Cheshire countryside its time for Archaeologist & Historian James Balme to return to the fields in search of further evidence left behind in the soils by our ancestors. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=131Jj-S9yc8 Autumn 2010 marks season XIV for James at the settlement and this is expected to be the most exciting year to date with the expectation of his unearthing of yet more Roman silver treasures from the fields that were once home to a wealthy Roman presence in the area. With many Roman silver Republican coins and a gorgeous Roman silver snake bracelet recovered by James in previous seasons could this be the year that James finally locates the centre of these rich Roman deposits in the soils of Cheshire !!!!!
