Latchford Locks
A 30 year old former Tongan International second row forward is being considered by new English coach McNamara to play for us in the Four Nations later this year... Somebody Please tell me this is a wind up http://www.sportinglife.com/rugbyleague/news/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=rleague/10/07/22/RUGBYL_England.html
Teessidewire
Unbelievable. We're well covered for second rows already. Why pick a 30 year old who is no better than what we've got already.
Wirewire
Does this reflect the sad state of English Rugby League players available or lack of ideas/ambition of the coach who failed at Bulls?
Teessidewire
When you consider that we've got Ellis, Burgess, Tomkins, Westwood, Wilkin, and others, I think it's the coach. He's starting to worry me already.
Latchford Locks
It also sends a very negative message to all the aspiring young players who turn out in all weathers playing for nothing in our amateur ranks
Latchford Locks
And after tonights peformance we now understand why McNamara had the wonderful idea and foresight to include Manu in our national team squad .....
Teessidewire
And after tonights peformance we now understand why McNamara had the wonderful idea and foresight to include Manu in our national team squad ..... He was actually one of their better players, but that isn't saying much. Hull had no leadership, no go forward, no enthusiasm, no idea. Latchford Locks
]He was actually one of their better players, but that isn't saying much. Hull had no leadership, no go forward, no enthusiasm, no idea. Maybe he was best of an abysmal pack, but surely it's time McNamara woke up and realised the Aussies are going to marmarlise us again and again untill we start to plan for the future with our young aspiring stars and stop grabbing at "quick fix straws" a desperate tactic He has already proven is disastrous at Bradford. Latchford Wolvesfan
Terrible this, the England team should be made up of English players who were born and bred in this country.
Latchford Locks
Terrible this, the England team should be made up of English players who were born and bred in this country. Seems some people today have forgotten just what it means to be patriotic for your own country of birth....
