Rolling Stones are a great pop band

Foreigner are most certainly classic rock with a few popular hits to their extensive catalogue.

While most rock fans will tolerate the Stones (and Bruce Springsteen if it comes to that) they would not include them in a list of classic heavy rock bands.

Status Quo are borderline but I allow them as they were the band which helped convert me from Abba to Heavy metal.

They are also one of the best live bands around.

Looking at the poll, they must all be crap. Come back Elvis for some proper Rock. This head banging stuff is bad for the brain. And bring back Motown as well.

Why not "Yes"? . But the theme for "Top Gear" is from the "Allman Brothers " and it it called "Jessica"

That gets my vote but the Welsh band called Yes is much better.
