Latchford Locks
......Did Wires proud tonight especially Bridge who seems to have now cemented his spot in the side,Ben worked tirelessly as usual and Moz did the hard yards. Gareth Widdop was treated as a new superstar by sky but I reckon Mathers would have done just as good a job (if not better) And lets remember we have Harrison and Atkins waiting for their call up's which in the fulness of time will come. Was also pleased(or is that relieved)that the crowd was a lot better than anticipated in fact without the World Cup clash 10,000 would have easily been achieved. All in all a succesful night......... Gary
Yes we could easily have six players in the England set up soon!
wolfie
Was also pleased(or is that relieved)that the crowd was a lot better than anticipated in fact without the World Cup clash 10,000 would have easily been achieved First of all it didn't clash with any World Cup match. Second ........ It's a sign of the times that an attendance at a Rugby League International match of less than 8000 is seen as a success. Third........ To put it into context, a South Africa v France Rugby Union match obviously clashing with the World Cup attracted 50,000 fans.

Wirewire
Only saw the game on the Super league Show and Bridge seemed to be one of the "star" performers - let's hope he keeps playing like that for us.
Eagle
Bridge certainly gave an accomplished performance, he was helped by good early service from Kevin Brown who is more of a team player than McGuire.
